I still remember my last visit at Memsaab restaurant in Healthcare City. when I was asked to come over for a review at their JLT outlet I got excited to try some more tempting options in their menu.
For the location I will give 5/5 as any restaurant with a view is my first preference if I have to choose. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and obviously we sat outside.
We were offered refreshing Jaljeera shots.
In starter we had Ajwaini Fish Tikka which was too good. I enjoyed it with green yogurt dip.
For the mains both our selections made our day. I had the most flavorful Lalmaas ( mutton curry) & Mutton Biryani. Do try these items if you visit them. Assorted chappatis to go with curry. In the basket we had lachha paratha, garlic & plain chappati.
Our sweet dish was kheer, however the dessert did not impress much as the rest of the menu.
You can ask for hot and cold beverage of your choice. They also have fresh juices in the menu.
Overall it was a good experience including service . I would recommend visiting them for a good dinner experience.

Emirates Oncology Society and Emirates Medical Association, in collaboration with Burjeel Cancer Institute at Burjeel Medical City, initiated nation-wide campaign to raise awareness on early detection of breast cancer
In an effort to spread the strong message of Pink October 2020, and intensify the fight against breast cancer, Emirates Oncology Society and the Emirates Medical Association, in collaboration with Burjeel Cancer Institute at Burjeel Medical City, initiated a nation-wide campaign by lighting up Burj Khalifa with pink colour and displaying a series of tips on the importance of early detection of breast cancer. The activity is the biggest visual campaign for breast cancer awareness in the world up to date.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed in October of every year around the world, provides an opportunity to shine a light on healthy living in the UAE, and remind women to be mindful of their well-being and the importance of early detection of screening tests to ensure speedy cure.
“We are delighted to launch this biggest worldwide campaign for breast cancer awareness in Burj Khalifa, one of the UAE’s landmarks as the country is making rapid strides in healthcare industry as part of its 2021 Vision to be one of the best countries in the word”, said Dr Humaid Al Shamsi, President of Emirates Oncology Society (EOS).
The effective control of breast cancer lies majorly in the early detection of the disease, as it ensures a better chance of accessing a wide range of treatment options”, said Dr Humaid Al Shamsi, President of Emirates Oncology Society (EOS).
Dr Shamsi stressed on the importance of bi-monthly self-breast exams and yearly mammograms. “Combined with clinical and self-breast exams, mammography can increase the likelihood of diagnosing the disease,” he added.
“Changes in the overall size, shape, or appearance of the breast or breast pain are to be noted as serious and alerting signs that women should be aware of,” Dr. Shamsi said while stressing on the need of early detection.
Worldwide, the most common type of cancer in women is breast cancer. A woman diagnosed with breast cancer in the early stages has a 93 percent or higher survival rate. Experts recommend women who are at higher risk of developing breast cancer, such as women with family or medical history, to follow a periodic consultation plan with their doctor. Age, weight, alcohol consumption, smoking, diet and exercise are some of the risk factors that trigger the development of the disease.
If you want to get indulge in delicious desi food with overlooking tall JLT towers & beautiful lake view, then you should head over to Tandoori Junction.
They serve amazing dishes both veg & non-veg, although its an Indian restaurant but the taste & recipes also cater foodies for those in search of Non-Veg dishes.
Restaurant has an indoor & outdoor capacity where you can enjoy lunch or dinner with beautiful lake views. As the weather is also getting favorable now for outdoor dining so it makes this restaurant perfect to enjoy food.
Below are few suggestions which I tried here.
They have mouthwatering Snacks and Chaats in menu, we tried Dahi Batata Puri. And also enjoyed munching on popadums with green chutney before the meals.
For Seafood Starters we had Tandoori Prawns, the marination was done right with citrus cream, yoghurt and kashmiri chili.
Kathi Rolls …. There is a long list of veg & non-veg rolls. I chose Murg Tikka Roll. Other than the rest of their dishes , the roll was not very much up to the mark as paratha was hard and chewy.
If you are looking for best Mutton Rogash Josh recipe, do try it here. Delicious lamb dish with mild gravy , we enjoyed with hot home styled chappatis.
In desserts they only had Gulab Jamuns available which we had.
Prices are reasonable . Fresh juices and other drinks are also available. Overall it was a good food experience.

This special Thali is Nizam’s Treat ( special Bhojanam) amazing blend of Veg and Non-Veg dishes. Each tasting katori ( bowl) has curries full of taste and some are spicy too. Curries include Coconut Curry, Fish Curry, Saambhar, Daal, Karela, Rassam, Chicken Curry, Chicken Biryani, Cauliflower Lollipops, raita, special Chutney ,Paapar & Roti to accompany all this.
King Fish …. They served us a piece of soft perfectly fried fish, very good addition to go with the mains.
We also had Prawn Masala, those are lightly battered fried prawns, good in taste.
Fish Chilli Manchurian ……. boneless fish in spicy gravy . If you like a bit spicy food, you will enjoy savoring this dish with boiled rice.
Desserts …. They have traditional sweets mithais on display. We opted for the Grma Garam (hot) Jalebis so delicious and crispy coming out fresh as they make it at the spot in pure desi ghee, dipped in sheera ( sugar syrup) so rich and tempting!! Must try Jalebis.

If you are looking to try delicious traditional Middle Eastern food, and a restaurant ambiance so calm , reflecting traditional touch in its décor, Festival Plaza has this perfect place to dine in. We had our wonderful dinner time spent at their location. Quality food, service & ambiance are the key aspects to make your dining experience perfect. We had all of these here. Moreover, their menu offers very reasonably priced dishes adding value for money.
We were served the traditional warm buttery puffy bread too good to go with the special Turkish dips. Dip dip and start your meals in a true Middle Eastern way.
I saw a mixed platter of salads in the menu. It consists of all favorites Hummus, Moutabel, Fattoush, & Tabbouleh.
We had the famous grills , as I cannot resist ordering grills at any Middle Eastern restaurant. The way they are served on a thin pita bread or Naan along with salads and fries and rice.
Adana Kebabs ……….. their serving sizes are Small, Medium & Large as per your choice of quantity. Kebab is prepared by mixing minced chicken meat along with minced lamb. This specialty makes the dish unique and rich.
