My last restaurant visit during the last week of December 2019 was at Walnut Grove at their City Walk location. Had a memorable festive dinner.
We were part of the festive evening when we were just closer to enter into Christmas. The restaurant was attractively done and charged to welcome guests for Christmas.
We decided on to sit inside & enjoy the elegant interior & décor.
Our cheerful attendant Ruby, helped us a lot in selecting from the wide & rich menu options.
We started with our Strawberry & Passionfruit Mojitos.
I had my favorite Burrata Pesto Salad ……… a sumptuous healthy bowl of mixed veggies, burrata cheese, pine nuts, sun dried tomato pesto, green basil pesto, & homemade pomegranate vinaigrette dressing.
Assorted platter of hummus with different flavors & colorful selection of homemade gourmet hummus dips. It was amazing to try with pita bread.
Our Main Course ………. Peppadew Avo Salmon , delicious pan seared salmon steak topped with sweet chili peppadew & avocado salsa. A must try combination!! Also addition of couscous & veggies on side makes a perfect dish. We opted to have fries as side.
Our second main dish was Butter Sage Sea Bass ………. I got a great recipe idea, but still I won’t be able to make it this much delicious. This pan seared Sea Bass was done in sage lemon butter sauce with hint of garlic. It was served on a bed of butternut mashed potaotes and grilled vegetables.Dish was done more flavorful by topping some zucchini hair.
Sweet Chili Chicken Wrap ……. A big sized richly stuffed wrap with chicken strips coated with sweet chili sauce & sesame seeds alongwith avocado, sprouts an few other vegetables.
They offer a variety of special cakes on display. Choice is all yours! after having a look around at the showcased irresistible variety, its hard to chose one. We had the soft moist big piece of carrot cake.
They also have kids meal options , the venue at City Walk is ideal for families & friends to spend relaxing hours during weekends or even at lunch .
