Al Mawal - Ghaya Grand Hotel Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Dubai Sports City and neighbourhood’s newest backyard sports bistro is set to be the ultimate hangout place for sports enthusiast, couples, friends and families.
For the foodie community in search of good food & ambiance , my recent alfresco dining experience was at The versatile property Of Ghaya Grand Hotel.

Al Mawal Lounge, a sports pub-meets-bistro medley of signature non-alcoholic beverages along with Mexican, Arabic, Italian and American delicacies, open its door this October 2018 at the Ghaya Grand Hotel, Dubai’s premier and ultimate urban oasis and modern hideaway. Complete with a vibrant al fresco seating, shisha al fresco and live sports big screen, The Al Mawal Lounge is the place to be with family and friends on any day of the week.

The spacious lobby at Ghaya Grand Hotel and welcoming staff warmly greet you as you walk in the property.

Ghaya Grand Hotel has many dining outlets on offer. They have recently launched their Lucky 7 Theme Nights at Al Mawal Terrace which consists of various cuisine offerings throughout the different days of week.
We were invited for the much popular Arabic Street Food Night . Why I am saying popular because, middle eastern cuisine is much in demand amongst the mixed culture of UAE .

The mild flavors , varieties of hot & cold mezzes and concept of wide range of starters/salads before the main course are the attractions of Arabic cuisine.

The rich Arabic Culture has a lot to offer in its Street Food. At Al Mawal Terrace, they have introduced this innovative Arabic Street Food Buffet set up.

Not only this, live grilling is done by the chef and brought to your table.

Your food is paired very well in the open breezy atmosphere and Outdoor Cinema.
Sport enthusiasts can also watch their favorite games. Shisha lovers can spend quality time as the weather is going to be more ideal during winter.

The old styled mobile carts / kiosks serve as live cooking stations. Brightly painted and depicts Arabic heritage. These are stations for Koshari , Falafel, Foul Madames, Karak Chai, Shawarma & Meat grilling.

On one side Live counter for Karak Chai & another Arabic specialty clear hot vegetable soup is served. If you can handle spices, this is the best spicy extract from vegetable served warm which you can have as appetizer.

So the chefs are seen busy showing their expertise to deliver fresh food. It was interesting to see Falafels getting fried in front of us and the making & layering of ingredients in Koshari.

The good thing is the buffet menu is such a good value for money & the portions are served generously.

The service fast & staff is so courteous . We had our table filled with starters like Foul Madames & Falafel.

In main course we had Koshari & Mixed Grilled Platter. Savored these delicacies while enjoying Shisha & Cinema.

Fresh juices are also available.

The buffet offers Arabic sweets, Muhalabia, Umma Ali which was done to perfection I had my bowl refilled twice. So was Muhalabia!!
