Our recent visit was at Melia Dubai to try the specially curated iftar menu at their restaurant Signature By Sanjeev Kapoor. Restaurant ambiance & traditional décor was done in accordance to the Holy month of Ramadan. The entire set up was done peaceful with dim lights & tables were prearranged with mini lanterns, Arabic tunes in the atmosphere & Iftar delights & hot & cold Mezzes ready on the tables.
An attractive display of dates and nuts is seen at the entrance lobby.
We were taken care of by the courteous & caring hosts Nathalia & her team, Chef Chandrachur Chamoli & restaurant manager Navdeep & the entire staff. We were asked about our food preferences, for those with any special requests were offered dishes which were separately prepared by the chef . So once you are there, feel at home by explaining your requirements in order to customize your dishes.
Special Ramadan drinks were served like, rose flavored milk, Jalab and others. Moroccon tea was also served at tables.
To start with, in addition to the hot & cold mezze we had mouthwatering pani puri shots, crispy hot aloo samosas & rolls. They also served a tangy palate cleanser.
Below is the detail of what we had during the evening. Each and every course of meals was delicious & full of flavors. Menu includes a variety of Arabic and Indian recipes. Veg & non- veg options were served according to choices. We opted for the non- veg options.
