At Mint Leaf of London we were taken to a unique culinary journey where Chef Pradeep Khullar as always continued to amaze with his unusual cooking styles & techniques. We were taken care of by the staff & chef himself throughout the evening & were kept engaged with different courses of delicious meals one after the other.
As the food comes on to your table, when tasted, it reflects the expertise of chef who works behind the kitchen & creates a lasting image, & as a result the restaurant attracts customers & foodies from all around the world. The latest cooking trends which are much in demand are those fusion styled dishes which are amalgamated with gastronomical delights.
Variety of cocktails which we tried ….. weather perfect drinks to beat the heat, signature drinks available in their menu are mind blowing blends of flavors.
Golden Lady, an amazing blend of gold dust & elder flower .
Garden Glow is another great creation, taste & presentation are the highlights.
Yallah Sake ….. added a traditional touch with dates…. A concoction of green apples & dates, thick & refreshing combination comes in a container & mini shots are served in between the meals.

Soon the enticing gastronomic entry was done, our first item Amouse Bouche …… a fabulous fusion touch given to pani puris with wasabi flavored yogurt stuffing.
Starters …. Innovations from the kitchen kept coming one after the other.
Lamb Adana Kabab with Rosemary Raita …… again raita got a new style & kababs were just perfect , juicy with Indian taste & spices.
Lemon Prawns Saffron Aioli …… pan grilled tiger prawns marinated in lemon pickle & drizzled with saffron aioli.
Romano Peppers Panch Phoran Potatoes ….. Romano peppers done in a twisted style by stuffing mashed potatoes with variety of spices & fried after coating with back Quinoa …. The ready dish is blackish fried stuffed peppers drizzled with mango chilli.
The most interesting part of the dinner experience with Chef Pradeep is the breaks & mini treats while during each course, really enjoyed having mini mango flavored lollies to change the taste of mouth before the main course comes.
The huge spread of main course was quite interesting with unusual but delicious combinations & serving styles.
Chicken Chettinad Lemon Rice …… chicken curry in chettinad spices with lemon rice & a flavorful curry served on side to be poured on it. This is another great tasting item!
Seared Black Cod with Cilantro Parsley Sauce …….. so succulent , pan seared fillet served with quinoa & vegetable pulao with specially prepared curry.
Dal Makhani ….. they prepare it so perfect! Urad dal at its best with taste of butter , tomatoes , hints of fenugreek leaves & fresh cream.
Black Quinoa & Pomegranate Raita …… experience a unique blend of yogurt & black quinoa with some pomegranate seeds. You will like it if you are looking for unusual flavors. A sweet flavored raita.
Naans ….. attention has been given to each & every item here, freshly baked naans with chilli ,garlic, butter, lachha paratha and a lot more is on offer. Gun Powder Naan is one of them, crispy butter naan is loaded with this south Indian spice called gun powder. So both veg & non- veg lovers have so much to enjoy here.
Desserts: After this lavish food journey which I have mentioned , there is hardly any room for desserts. But bet even if you are fully stuffed , you will never say no to Chef’s sweet creations which are light , healthy & innovative!
The Lotus Mess, Wild Berries ……. according to chef, this is an inspiration from the British Eton Mess. This warmer version of lotus has wild berries, bananas , ice cream, lotus caramel biscuits. The taste comes when you mix all the stuff together, make it a mess and start! The dish so beautifully presented!
Ras Malai Soan Padi Foam …… some times you have to be mean & here I was to have this dish, to eat all alone ….. I would suggest , do add it in your dessert order. Light, fluffy & delightful plate off Ras Malai all covered with Soan Padi foam, saffron flavor, pistachio nuts, some rose petals & almond flakes.

They also have separate halls to cater private gatherings, outside arrangement has also been done.
