Dubai International Boat Show is ready for the weekend! Bumper offering of fantastic activities to enjoy at show’s new location at Dubai Canal in Jumeirah

Dubai, UAE: There is fun for the whole family at this year’s Dubai International Boat Show, with team building challenges, fun-filled entertainment venues, great food and more on offer. All this, plus the event’s line up of glamorous boats and yachts make for an unforgettable weekend, guaranteed.
Located at its new temporary location at the mouth of the Dubai Canal near the Dubai Ladies Club, the 26th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show, running until March 3rd, is the ideal place to bring the family for a great day out by the water.
Visitors with a competitive streak should sign up for the DXB Paddle Race. This fun challenge will see up to 150 people hit the water in kayaks, stand up paddle boats and canoes. For those craving more competition, the Build-A-Boat competition is a great team-building exercise for families and friends who love being on the water.
For those who like their fun motor-powered, the Seabike – an entry-level underwater vehicle with a propeller can be used both on the surface and under water – will be on display at Dubai International Boat Show this weekend.
Or how about checking out The SeaScooter? This high performance, portable and easy handling dive propulsion vehicle, features proprietary battery technology for prolonged use, is lightweight, easy to carry and can be used in fresh or salt water recreation.
For the gadget lover in the family, innovative Canadian company Deep Trekker will impress visitors of all ages with its display of the latest range of underwater remote operated vehicles and drones. These state-of-the-art machines are packed full of the latest camera technology to make exploring the deep even more exciting and easy.
Live entertainment is at the heart of the Dubai International Boat show, and this year is no exception. Visitors can watch live performances by acclaimed Arab singers Faisal Al Jassem and Oraib Hamdan, who will take the stage on Thursday and Friday night respectively between 6:30pm-7:45pm on both evenings.
Other live acts performing at the show include Spinal Jazz, Leone Murphy and DJ Mark Shakedown to name a few.
The Beach is a popular spot to relax after spending the day exploring the exhibits and activities on offer. The venue offers wonderful food, drinks and entertainment, plus it is a great location to soak up the unique atmosphere of the Dubai International Boat Show.
Youngsters will love the Funky Monkeys children’s play are featuring a range of family friendly activities from face painting, sand art lessons, arts & crafts and carnival games.
Getting to this year’s Dubai International Boat Show has never been easier. Plenty of free visitor parking is available at the show’s temporary location near the Dubai Ladies Club in Jumeirah, while free bus and water taxi stations are located nearby from Al Habtoor City Marine Transport Station at the Dubai Water Canal.
The 26th Dubai International Boat Show at the Dubai Canal is open to the public from 3pm – 9:30pm daily until March 3rd, 2018. Tickets will be available at the gates priced at AED 65 each. Family tickets are available at AED 160 (two adults and two children over 12) saving families 20 per cent of the entry fee, while government employees can attend the show for AED 50 per ticket.
