Each time as Chef Sweety Singh is back at Medley Restaurant, he introduces innovative recipes & adds exciting flavors with his slow cooking style in Punjabi food.
Here I am sharing what we all savor on the veg & non-veg dishes prepared by chef himself who makes such finger licking combinations of ingredients.
Chef Sweety Singh has always amazed us with his authentic dishes. According to him he believes in healthier cooking styles & simple techniques in cooking. While dining at Medley Restaurant you also get a chance to meet the chef in person & get some valuable tips on cooking.
Our recent visit to Medley was a feast of authentic Indian & Punjabi cuisine. If you are in a mood for street food, enjoy an unlimited offering as the chef prepares for you spicy, tangy & crispy pani puris ,Bhel & Dahi puri.
The colorful section of salads has a great variety of all assorted mix, Arabian mediterranean & fresh salads.
Soups include Pepper Soup & Chicken Broth.
Starters: This section has mouthwatering selection of kebabs & tikkas like Sabz Kebab, Lahori Paneer Tikka, Meat Di Tikki, Chicken Tikka, & Ajwaini Machi De Pakode (fish). Enjoy with freshly baked Butter chappatis from oven on to your plate.
Main Course / Curries: Savor on veg & non-veg main courses, veg options are Arbi, Wadiyon Wale Chawal, Amritsari Chole ( chickpeas with spices), Kadi Pakodas ( onion dumplings in yogurt base gravy), Mushroom do Pyaza, Shimla Mirch Paneer ( mixed pepper).
Non – Veg options are Murgh Makhanwala ( Butter Chicken), Saag Meat ( spinach meat), Jheenga Masalah ( Shrimps), & Qeema Chawal.
Desserts: You will have an unforgettable experience of sweet delicacies, imagine eating a halwa made of peppers. After an earlier experience of Meat Halwa which left us astonished , this was the second unusual combination. The dessert looked inviting and at the same time tasted good with a slight taste of peppers of course! Do try.
Other items are Shahi Tukray ( sweet bread slices soaked in reduced milk) , Kheer, Gulab jamun, Gajar ( carrot) Halwa, Coconut Burfi, Fresh Fruits, Pastries , mini Cakes, Brownies, Tarts, & a lot more.
Additionally enjoy the flavors in Lassi , I would recommend the creamy thick Mulberry Lassi . Karak Chai is also available.
