Amazing Dubai tells the story of Dubai’s Journey from a nomadic community of Bedouins & Pearl Divers in the 18oos to one of the most modern & cosmopolitan metropolises on earth.
Told through the eyes of an Emirati family that has been here from the beginning, its growth paralleling that of the city they call home, this thrilling hour long musical took the audience through the good and the bad times of the city, as it highlighted Dubai’s resilience and determination to triumph with renewed vigor.
Interspersed with the story of Dubai’s visionary decision to concentrate on trade and infrastructure, the musical has a keen eye on the future & of the vibrant expatriate communities welcomed by the locals with open arms, highlighting their innate hospitality.
Amazing Dubai also captured the flavor of Dubai’s rich cultural heritage, its musical influences, and the Emiratis sense of belonging to the land that nurtured them and their city.
