Baydar Lebanese Restaurant – Barsha Mall Dubai

Baydar Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Dubai being a hub for food outlets & shopping malls, people are spoilt for choices. Other than the hangouts for foodies which we find all over Dubai, shopping malls are the most convenient and comfortable spots where you can shop & dine at the same time.
And the number of such spots/ malls is growing with the passage of time. Barsha Mall is another such spot if you fancy a family friendly ambiance where you can do your grocery and dine while your kids are busy in play area.
I was invited at Baydar Lebanese Restaurant at Barsha Mall. Situated at first floor, Baydar restaurant & Sandella’s Flatbread Café share a common place because of the same management. Sandella’s Café has its outlets at different locations in Dubai. Here Sandella’s Café & Byadar have the same entrance. But you won’t feel any inconvenience for this.
I am a huge fan of Lebanese dishes, the aroma, taste & freshly baked breads with cheese, olives & dips are truly addictive. We got to try authentic taste & flavor in their dishes.
Baydar is a fine dining restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere, their menu offers variety of fresh juices and cocktails etc. We tried their Fruit Cocktail & Fresh Green Apple juice.

We had a delicious spread of Lebanese starters & salads ..…
All time favorite Hummus & Fattoush Salad.
There is no match to those freshly baked breads served with flavored cheese & pickles.

Starters:
In starters we had Batata Hara ( cubed potatoes)& sujuk ( meat sausages). I would recommend these two dishes to try. Crispy and mildly flavored potato cubes with slight lemon flavor and meat sausages cooked in tomato & capsicum gravy & a bit on spicy side, both are equally great in taste. There is an option for sujuk, if one cannot handle spices they offer a normal serving as well.

Mains: Our spread of salads, dips and starters was more than enough. We didn’t feel like eating any more. But couldn’t resist when the grills came to our table. Your carnivorous craving is covered here ……. So succulent mixed grill platter, and perfectly grilled lamb chops. I am not a big fan of lamb chops, but the soft, tasty easy to pull out meat was so pleasurable in eating.

Desserts:
Who would say no to a cheesy Kunafa & hot bowl of UmmAli richly garnished with almonds. Kunafa’s top layer as always has to be drizzled by sugar syrup and underneath is the layer of thick cheese which is an amazing combination to go with top kunafa layer. About Umm Ali, I have eaten different versions of Umm Ali in various restaurants. I myself has been creating many new recipes of Umm Ali. But the original form lasts forever !! Baked pastry puffs are heavily drenched in pure warm milk and richly garnished with nuts. Loved the Umm Ali here.
Overall experience is …..… the true delight of Lebanese cuisine is available here.
The restaurant has an ideal location best suited for those looking for home like food during working days and lunch hours.
Their home delivery service is available within 40 minutes in the area and also in JLT, Plam & Jumeirah.
