Food, video games, ladies night, cooking classes, artisan market, and more from July 6 – September 2 at Dubai World Trade Centre
Truckers Summer Warehouse, a two-month indoor food truck festival, will add a dose of music, gaming, and art as it transforms Hall No. 8 of Dubai World Trade Centre into a funky foodie haven. As part of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises, the newest hangout this season features themed nights that will take place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting 6th July until 2nd September, from 4pm to 11pm.
It’s gaming night on Wednesdays
Truckers Summer Warehouse will be filled with free-to-play games which shape a whole generation of gamers. Powered by IGN Middle East, the event will focus on themed gaming experiences such as old school arcades, consoles, collaborative games, and the latest gaming technology. Both young and old can immerse in an experience in a virtual world with motion tracked controllers; face off against other players at the console gaming zone or tabletop games; heighten the experience of playing Japanese fighting video game Tekken in a gaming pod; relive the good old days recreating the charm of traditional arcade; or simply relax and lounge in bean bags streaming all-time favourite movies.
A grand finale at the end of the season will bring all type of gamers and gaming experiences together to showcase the latest titles, hold gaming tournaments and provide an opportunity for fans to meet IGN team members. The finale will be live streamed and offer visitors opportunity to win tons of gaming goodies as well as purchase some of the best products from regional artists and gaming companies. More details will be revealed as the finale approaches.
Ladies night on Thursdays
For those ladies who like to end their working week with an awesome night out, Truckers Summer Warehouse got it covered. Ladies get to enter for free on Thursdays and avail two house beverages for the price of one.
Cooking classes on Saturdays
Be a food truck chef for a day! Learn practical skills, discover new recipes, and prepare them inside a food truck. Cooking studio Top Chef will conduct one-hour-long cooking classes featuring efficient and unique teaching concept where students can learn the necessary culinary skills and recipes to cook at home on a daily basis. Available for both adults and kids aged 6 to 12 every Saturday from July 22. Kids’ session starts at 5pm for AED85, followed by adults’ session at 8pm for AED 150. ARTE, The Makers’ Market on Truckers DXB on Saturdays
Complementing Truckers DXB’s core objective to showcase local talents by providing them with a platform, ARTE, The Makers’ Market comprising the Artisans of the Emirates, will come on board providing a unique alternative shopping experience. ARTE will showcase 35 of its finest artisans, presenting their handmade creations ranging from jewellery, art, fashion, toys, and even skincare products.
Those who cannot wait for Truckers Summer Warehouse to open at 4pm can opt for home delivery. Order your favourite meal from participating food trucks through Zomato and have it delivered to your door step. Deliveries will be available for lunch and dinner and available in select locations: DIFC, Downtown, and Business Bay.

Frings DXB …… Famous for their fries & wings … Friendly & Savy entrepreneurs sharing their passions through a fresh approach to the culinary experience and improving the way we eat food in the region. Their menu has a drooling selection of Burgers, Wings & fillets. I had the Signature Char-grilled Wings heavily drizzled with sauce & fries topped with cheese. This hot spicy plate is amazing to try if you can handle spices.
Saj 2 Go
Traditional Lebanese Bakery serving freshly made Saj bread filled with a variety of salty and sweet fillings. They also bake Manakeesh and Pizzas in stone oven and offer a selection of tasty salads.
I tried their Chicken Tawook Sandwich. The colorful bright yellow truck is centre of attraction for foodies.
The Saj 2 Go concept is appealing for all nationalities while maintaining the traditional way of flattening the dough by hand, baking it one after another and then adding an array of fresh ingredients.
The Saj bread is the Healthiest Bread made without any additives.
These days they are parked in Hall 8 of Dubai World Trade Centre. The best indoor spot for foodies to escape from heat, along with many other home grown trucks whichwill also be parked in Trade Centre till September.
The Shebi serve delicious varieties in burgers like Chicken , Beef, Mushroom & Falafel . I tried their beef burger, very flavorful richly stuffed bun with thick & soft shreds of beef.
In addition to all the above, some other food trucks parked there are Mr. Brisket, Ride London, Swag Truck, Clinton St. Baking Company, Wingsters & Gobai Foodtruck.

These activities are in addition to around 15 homegrown food trucks serving fusion cuisines and authentic food from all over the world.
