The famous Ramadan item for Iftar Lamb Ouzi gathered a huge crowd, simillarly Arabic mixed Grill which included Lamb Kebabs, Mutton & Chicken Skewers Shish Tawook, mix display of Veg & Non-veg curries & gravies included Monazalah Eggplant, Fish Traboulsi this dish had soft fish chunks done in tahini sauce, tomato & coriander, then Lamb Okra … it was done in tomato sauce. Stuffed Cabbage with Lamb Chops ….. stuffed with minced meat, rice & Arabic spices. Roasted Chicken with Garlic & Lemon, Vegetable Salona, Mutton Vindaloo … here Lamb is prepared in Indian spices, Prawn Biryani done in Indian style, Baked Pasta, Beef Medallion with Herb Sauce, Garden Vegetables, Lyonnaise Potatoes.
Once you are in for the desserts, you will keep revolving around, as you will be spoilt for choices. Assorted Arabic Sweets, Turkish Delights, Pastries, Puddings, Cheese Cakes Indian sweets, Fresh Fruits and much more. Some of them like Mango Cheese Cake, Strawberry Mousse with Raspberry Jelly, Chocolate Mousse Crème Caramel, Red Velvet Cake, Carrot Cake, Black Forest Cake, Peanut Butter Bars, Killaj, Muhalabia, Aish al Saraya , Halawet Al jeben, Katayef Asafeery, Ras Malai , Laddu , Umm Ali and the ultimate divine tasting Cheese Kunafa.
I was greedy enough to try many desserts one after the other without thinking of the consequences … like Ras Malai, Kunafa, Umm Ali, Muhalabia, Mango Cheese Cake & Carrot Cake… enjoyed the entire experience right from the main course till the last session of desserts paired by Arabic Coffee.
