We were invited for an iftar preview at Kamoon restaurant. The dining setup was done outside amongst the tall impressive towers , by the poolside & with marina which has flown in made a fantastic experience.
As I always enjoy venue more than the food, so here I found the location, arrangement & food so perfect to wind down with friends and family , enjoying the Arabic delicacies and shisha.
The décor & table setting was done in accordance with Ramadan. Kamoon restaurant has an indoor & outdoor spacious arrangement for seating.
The tables were all set outside with big platters of dry fruits and freshly cut salad which you can start for iftar.
About food….. true Arabic delicacies were served to us… unlimited juices and drinks kept flowing, amongst those were the very popular Ramadan drinks ….

Falafel Rolls …. Thin bread rolls were richly stuffed with soft & delicious falafels.
Batata Harra …. Very flavorful diced potato bites were done in olive oil alongwith coriander leaves & garlic.

Kibbeh Traboulsiyeh …. Deep fried minced lamb & wheat balls alongwith pine nuts.
Cheese Sambousek Rolls/Sticks …… Hot crispy pastry sheets rolled and stuffed with white cheese…. too good !

Kebbeh Nayeh ….. it was raw lamb blended with crushed wheat, onions & sundried chilli, so if you can handle spices try this one!
Kamoon Salad …. Healthy fresh mix of avocado, tomato, parsley, onion, berry & flavour of garlic.

Meshawi Meshakelleh … Kamoon Tawook, Lamb shoaf, Kebab Halibi, Lamb Reyaash & Lamb Arayess … In the picture you will see a mouth watering selection of seekh kebabs, chicken and lamb skewers, stuffed minced lamb bread all had great taste.
Kebbeh Al Seekh … another interesting recipe in the menu, meat balls stuffed with pine nuts and capsicum.
Lahm Bil Karaz …. For a great change and perfect combination of meat with cherry sauce, must try this dish. Grilled lamb meat ball kebabs are cooked in cherry sauce, served with Arabic bread & garnished with parsley and pine nuts.
Fish Sayyadiah …. Soft flaky rice cooked in fish stock & cumin seeds served on a bed of big sized fish fillet, tartar and Sayyadiah sauce.
They have a wide variety on offer in desserts like Mahalabia, Umm Ali, Assorted Arabic sweets, Katayef etc.

With the lavish Iftar Buffet, featuring of a refined selection of reviewed Arabic dishes for AED 149* and preserve the traditions around well garnished tables.
