An unexpected environment with a fantastic mix of outfits brought a unique vision to this popular fashion show, which took place at CITY WALK
Imagine a fashion show where the clothes match the surrounding architecture.Now imagine an opportunity to see such a spectacle come to life.Well, Dubai Shopping Festival ( DSF)gave the public the exact chance as it held the exciting fourth & final instalment of ‘Street Runway’ in City Walk last week.This was the ‘Urban Trendy’ edition of the ever-popular fashion show inspired by the backdrop of its locale.
Using textured cubes and grunge metal elements, as well as speakers and LED screens, the final ‘Street Runway’, left the audience with an appreciation for both the show’s environment and the talents of the designers.
Rarely do such strong and independent artisitic expressions come together to present one evening of shared vision, and the mix of local female, male and child models showcase a range of international designers and brands.The ‘Street Runway’ was a fitting farewell to this popular series of public fashion events with two consecutive shows on the same day.
For the finale, the participating brands included Atos Lombardini, Cavalli Class, Rebecca Minkoff, Level Kids and Antonio Marras. The hair stylist and make-up partner for the event was Le BHV Marais.
The ‘Street Runway also hosted a range of VIPs in a special area, but also offered good vantage points for all members of the public, providing to be a fantastic, fun-filled adventure for the entire family.
