Till the time I was not invited, I did not know about this Paragon situated amongst the hustle & bustle of Bur Dubai area. Opposite to Burjuman Centre is the newly opened luxurious Park Regis Hotel which provides an array of facilities for the guests alongwith several restaurants/bar within the hotel which serve the guests keeping in mind the myriad of cultures here.
I was invited to experience a very lavish dinner here at their very sophisticated restaurant Kris with a View. The hotel lobby is wide & welcoming, Kris with a View is at 19th floor with awe-inspiring views. Reading the review & my explanation about the food & restaurant ambiance won’t be enough as one needs to personally experience this all….. the restaurant has a capacious entrance lobby with left and right much sizable halls, one hall is fixed for dining/buffet where as the expansion on the other side serves bar facilities and live music. This bar area is again split into smoking & non-smoking areas. The views from the restaurant halls are simply enthralling & makes one spend hours while savoring on their Pan Asian specialties. The seating arrangement is very organized, where most of the tables are arranged with a view. The full glass windows keeps you busy watching outside views.
I was informed of the Theme Nights at Kris where each night they serve something not to be missed. I opted for Thursday Pan Asian Night. For reader’s reference here is the detail for each night:
Mondays: Pot Around – From steaming Asian soups and noodles to exotic Oriental curries and coconut-gravy sweets
2. Tuesdays: Ochi Sushi Night – featuring a selection of sushi and sashimi accompanied with soups, Asian salads and sweets.
