Kris With A View Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Till the time I was not invited, I did not know about this Paragon situated amongst the hustle & bustle of Bur Dubai area. Opposite to Burjuman Centre is the newly opened luxurious Park Regis Hotel which provides an array of facilities for the guests alongwith several restaurants/bar within the hotel which serve the guests keeping in mind the myriad of cultures here.

I was invited to experience a very lavish dinner here at their very sophisticated restaurant Kris with a View. The hotel lobby is wide & welcoming, Kris with a View is at 19th floor with awe-inspiring views. Reading the review & my explanation about the food & restaurant ambiance won’t be enough as one needs to personally experience this all….. the restaurant has a capacious entrance lobby with left and right much sizable halls, one hall is fixed for dining/buffet where as the expansion on the other side serves bar facilities and live music. This bar area is again split into smoking & non-smoking areas. The views from the restaurant halls are simply enthralling & makes one spend hours while savoring on their Pan Asian specialties. The seating arrangement is very organized, where most of the tables are arranged with a view. The full glass windows keeps you busy watching outside views.
I was informed of the Theme Nights at Kris where each night they serve something not to be missed. I opted for Thursday Pan Asian Night. For reader’s reference here is the detail for each night:
Mondays: Pot Around – From steaming Asian soups and noodles to exotic Oriental curries and coconut-gravy sweets
2. Tuesdays: Ochi Sushi Night – featuring a selection of sushi and sashimi accompanied with soups, Asian salads and sweets.
3. Wednesdays: Seafood Night – Offering a wide variety of seafood selection ranging from calamari, prawns, lobsters, oysters, crabs, shellfish to salmon, sea bass and many other fresh fish.
4. Thursdays: Pan Asian Night – discover the very best of Pan Asian specialties buffet from Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan and India surrounded by the unique panoramic views of Dubai.
5. Fridays: Indian-Malaysian Flavours – a buffet of authentic cuisines from India and Malaysia.

Restaurant manager Mr.Thushara and the entire staff is very cordial , throughout the evening we were taken care of in a very friendly atmosphere, the chefs are very well informed of all the dishes.
Pan Asian night serves a plethora of dishes with various cuisines and live cooking stations. The extensive buffet has everything for everyone, veg & non-veg lovers can equally enjoy here.

Let me start with the salad corner where mix varieties of salads were on display some of those like fresh green salad mix, Squid Salad, Tuna Marmalade Salad, Grilled Beef Salad, Tandoori Gobi Salad, Kachumber Salad, specialty ‘’Gado Gado’’ salad which is prepared and assembled by the chef using different fresh & other ingredients.

Other than salads there was a separate colorful section of assorted chutneys and dips like Mango Chutney, Ginger Garlic Sauce, Tamarind Sauce, Thai Spicy Sauce, Crispy Fried garlic, Pickled Plum, Ginger Pickle, Hoisin Sauce, Guilian sauce, Sambal Oelek, Mint Chutney, Siracha Sauce etc.

We had starters like Vegetable Spring Rolls, Chicken Lollipop & Chicken Samosas along with the hot flavorful Soups ….Dal Shorba, Hot & Sour Chicken Soup.
Tandoori Marinated whole Red Snapper Fish was another impressive item in the menu additionally you can also order for a grilled Lobster . Catch it up fresh & get it grilled!

The lovely Corner where delectable assorted sushis and Sashimi were displayed to choose from …… At live Noodle station we had yummy noodles and stir fried prawns done by the expert Chef Linda, Dim Sum Station had so delicious Prawn, Chicken & vegetable Dim Sums . Mains included Sayur Masak Lemak( a dish with vegetables & coconut ), Deep Fried Fish with Tamarind Sauce… this fish was so soft and flavorful, and so was Lamb Rendang soft and delicious! Beef Chilli, Sweet & Sour Prawn great tasting prawns immersed with sauce , Mixed Seafood with Black Pepper Sauce, Red Duck Curry, Indian corner had its famous amazing dishes like Aloo Bhindi, Dal Bukhara, Mutton Vindaloo, Fish Masala, Chicken Do Piaza, Green Peas Pulao all dishes were amazingly done.
Simillarly we enjoyed the mix variety in desserts … the colorful selection of sweet treats from different cuisines some were new to me but chef explained each & every dish. We had Mango Coconut Jelly, Red Beans Cake, Black Rice with caramelized Pineapple, Jackfruit Cake, Rasmalai, Kheer, Strawberry Cake, Sago Pudding, Pandan Mousse with Lychees, Watalappam ( very soft and mouth melting dessert made with Jaggery, coconut, almonds etc), Gulab Jamun, Burfi and fresh fruits.
