Iftar at Kenza Restaurant Ramada Downtown

After my wonderful experience at Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman , I had the pleasure of attending another media iftar at Ramada Downtown branch. Ramada Hotels have their branches at different locations across UAE. During Ramadan I have tried three of their locations, had my best experience in terms of food quality, service and restaurant ambiance at each one of them.
Downtown area is one of my favorite locations in UAE, Ramada Hotel is located at Mohammed Bin Rashed Boulevard Street , overlooking Burj Khalifa . Kenza restaurant has both out door and indoor seating capacity. Outdoor terrace is quite interesting with lush green trees, black cane furniture and pool on one side with a small grill station where flavorful juicy grills kept flowing throughout from iftar till dinner time.
For iftar Kenza restaurant has a set menu for Ramadan with international & oriental buffet, additionally to break iftar it includes dates , mixed nuts and Arabic coffee on one side and chilled juices like Roh Afza and jallab etc to break the fast. Hot mezzeh like cheese fatayer, Kebbeh, samosas were also added in menu.
Soups in their menu are Harira Soup and Lentil soup.
You will find everything in the salads portion , dips, fresh green vegetable salads, variety in olives, mixed pickles, egg salad, tabbouleh, hummus, Korean cucumber salad, baba ghanoush, potato salad and much more. Presentation of salads and taste was equally good .
Main dishes are the very famous Lamb Ouzi, Butter Chicken, Grilled Hummour with Caper Butter sauce, Spaghetti with pink sauce, Steamed Vegetables, Potato Harra, Kibbeh Bil Laban, Lamb Tagine, and the very sumptuous mixed grills which we devoured alongwith the khubus and dips.Chicken Malai tikka, Seekh kebabs, Beef Tikkas etc added delight to our meals. Lamb Ouzi had a very good taste too, Not only this non veg dishes tasted great as well. Everyone has something to try here. The gravy of butter chicken was authentic and delicious.

Again their menu for desserts is second to none, yummy Umm Ali , Assorted cut fruits, Raspberry cake, Arabic sweets, Peanut butter Creameux, Bitter Chocolate cake, Grape fruit shots, different flavors in Cheese cake, Basbousa , Baklava etc.
Plan a quality time to spend with family or friends at Kenza restaurant Downtown. Iftar rates : Cost per person AED 130
7:00 pm to 10:30 pm ( Sun – Sat)
