Arabian Automobiles , the flagship company of AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive dealer for Infiniti in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, marked the start of its sponsorship of the Asateer tent at Atlantis, The Palm with a star-studded launch event.
The much-anticipated Asateer tent launch event saw celebrities from the worlds of Arab film, media and music in advance of the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan. This is the sixth consecutive year that Infiniti has partnered with Atlantis The Palm to sponsor the Asateer tent throughout Ramadan.

This is the sixth consecutive Ramadan that Infiniti of Arabian Automobiles and Atlantis The Palm have put up the Asateer tent, which is one of the most iconic and luxurious settings anywhere in the city at this time of year.
Featuring traditional activities, entertainment and food, this visually stunning venue boasts unparalleled views of the Arabian Gulf and is renowned for its sumptuous Iftar and Suhour offerings. Infiniti’s QX50 and QX60 will be on display at the Asateer tent throughout the month.
This was my second visit to the Majestic Asateer Tent which is operated each year at the occasion of Ramadan. This widespread Tent is one of its kind a must visit place, with the view of iconic Atlantis and as you walk in, you get mesmerized by the luxurious arrangement . A very extensive seating arrangement with a pretty good distance between each table, which leaves a plenty of space to walk freely .It is also best suited for families . The majestic chandeliers have blanketed all over the tent. This splendid touch of chandeliers along with peacock blue, ivory and gold color scheme has made Asateer Tent the top visiting place for a memorable Iftar and Suhoor in UAE.
For true football heads, be there when UEFA Euro Cup kicks off at Asateer! Watch the world’s biggest sporting event on giant HD LED screens and feel the roaring spirit of the game.
A widespread of dishes and live entertainement was seen in different sessions.
The very traditional serving style of Khuroof (lamb) Ouzi was displayed , where it is prepared in giant iron pots hung with chains. A much sized lump of beef…..Slow Roasted Beef Steamship was quite impressive. I also tried from their selection of tempting Arabic Mixed Grills.
The gorgeously flowing Tahina sauce in the fountain is another charm where you can dip & enjoy your crunchy grilled veggies ,bread sticks and falafel balls. I misunderstood this Tahina Fountain with white sauce.
Numerous live cooking stations were serving traditional Iftar delicacies like Shawarma Fattah Station, Balila Station etc.
Drinks included Laban with Mint, Mango juice, Date drink, Jallab etc
Salads had all kind of fresh green salads and Mediterranean salads and a wide range of hot and cold Arabic mezzes , sambosas, fatayers, cheese Rekakat etc.
Main dishes also had an impressive menu like ….. Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Fennel Tomato Salsa, Stuffed Vine Leaves with Baby Marrow and Lamb Chops, Slow Braised Beef with Sauteed Mushrooms, Lamb Harris, Okra Stew with Lamb Chunks, Roasted Chicken with Bean Ragout, BBQ Chicken Leg with Mediterranean Ratatouille Vegetables,Sauteed Seasonal Vegetables, Kebbeh bil Laban, Oriental Chicken with Potato Garlic and Lemon Sauce, Roasted Prawns Chermoulla – Style, Spinach Stew, Cheese and Vegetable Lasagna, all dishes are delectably prepared with mild flavors, with distinction of veg and non veg.
Variety of dates affixed on trees looked adorable. Macarons in all flavors were enormously displayed. Not only this Namoura Coconut, Karabeej with Pistachio, Chocolate Panacotta, Aysh al Saraya, Chocolate Pear Tartlet, Walnut St Jean, Date Linzer Torte, Saffron Rice Pudding with Raisins, Sticky Date and Banana Pudding, fresh fruits, Kunaffah , Chaabeyat, Baklawas and Chocolate Fountain and a lot more added festive touch to the desserts menu. I tried a few out of them, each dessert had an amazing taste including Kunafa and few other Arabic delicacies.
Had a very good time not only enjoying the deliciousness and variety in food but at the same time the stunning ambiance at Asateer keeps you enthralled for hours. A highly recommended venue to make your Iftar fantastic and memorable either with family or group of friends.
