Wafi pyramids has a small Food town having the most hype food outlets. Variety of restaurants caters different cuisines. And to guarantee perfect dining experience it has the capacity of beautiful Rooftop Gardens , contemporary indoor as well as alfresco seating. We had a chance to try Carter’s , tucked inside the Pyramids Wafi Carter’s – gastro pub, sports bar and restaurant offers a delicious menu featuring international cuisine including English favorites and special gourmet delights, presented in casual and comfortable surroundings.
Historical touch has been given at the entrance with a Pharaoh lying in the glass. A relaxed atmosphere is created ideal for business lunches, dinners and special evenings with friends not so recommendable for families.. The wooden floor and soft pastel interior along with dim lights leaves an engrossed effect. The outdoor seating is quite calm though not so spacious but good to spent some relaxing hours.
We had the chance to visit at their Turkish themed Night, where the guests enjoyed Turkish music along with delectable Turkish mezze. We ordered Vigin Kiss ( Pina Colada) and Ray of Sunshine drink from the variety of their mocktail menu. Ray of Sunshine was a mix of orange, pineapple & cranberry just perfect not so sour. The light Turkish mezze selection included Kozlenmis Patlican Salad ( the very famous roasted eggplant salad with lemon juice and seasonings), Acili Antep Ezme ( tomato salad dip with pepper flakes ) , Hummus and Haydari ( beaten yogurt dip) but every thing was perfect in flavors and too enjoyably with those fresly baked breads/naans/khubus with a slight garnish of zatar. The mezze it self is quite filling. Along with the mocktails and listening to Turkish music we had a good time.
