With a vision to nurture, incubate & promote Middle East’s emerging creative talent, FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style launched during Fashion Forward Dubai F/W 16 at Dubai Design District with an industry & media reception at the Forward Lounge on 1st of April. Aanya Aggarwal founder & director at Chocolate Entertainment organised the event.
Hollywood Celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson graced the occasion with her presence. During her talk with Alison Tay Editor – in – Chief Grazia Middle East at d3talks, she shared her experiences of her journey in fashion & style . She told that she never thought of coming into fashion. She grew up in a farm in Africa. She has an amazing team of photo graphers , stylists and make up artists, together the team effort does wonders. INDUSTRY INITIATIVES & PARTNERSHIPS – House of MEA by FAD during London Fashion Week
Industry relations form one of the most important aspects of training and FAD Dubai already enjoys a growing international connectivity with annual student trips to Europe for industry and institutional visits during Fashion Weeks & fairs. As an initiative to support the regional talent at large and to give its students practical industry projects, FAD recently unveiled the House of Middle East & Asia at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week. The bi-annual initiative will give the students at FAD an opportunity to gain unparalleled international exposure and engage with industry during the London Fashion Week each season. Fashion Forward Dubai will also be engaging with FAD students by honoring internship opportunities across all the departments for students to learn and engage with industry leaders.

COURSES AT FAD
FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style will be offering a range of courses certified by London College of Style & FAD International approved by the Knowledge & Human Development Authority Dubai.
Courses will range from 1 Week to 6 Months with weekday and weekend timings to suit working professionals as well individuals pursuing other acadmiec qualifications.
