Disco legends Boney M featuring Liz Mitchell, Michelin starred chefs and fine dining restaurants delight thousands of visitors at Taste of Dubai, part of Dubai Food Festival
10 March 2016 – Dubai, UAE: Taste of Dubai opened with all its fervor and food filled atmosphere. It opened its doors on 10 March & attracted a huge crowd of foodies. A lot of Dubai’s fine dining restaurant pop up stalls catered public with their signature dishes . Radisson Blu Dubai introduced their signature Camel sliders, Chicken Roulade and Quail salad. Eataly served their pizza ,pasta and a lot more. Tresind Dubai attracted everyone with their amazing Lava Lamp drinks, pani puri and variety of their specialty dishes. Vesna Dubai is offering their flavored teas like berry mix tea , pan cakes , sandwiches etc.
Michelin starred and celebrity chefs demonstrated at Electrolux chef’s theatre, American Garden and Lurpak cooking challenge.
If you happen to pass by Costa Coffee not only you will get to try their Costa flavors but you will walk away with free Costa Frostino vouchers.

11 March 2016 – Dubai, UAE: Thousands of visitors danced into the evening as disco legends Boney M featuring Liz Mitchell rocked Taste of Dubai’s main stage during one of the busiest, and most euphoric, opening nights in the event’s nine-year history. Taste of Dubai anticipates record crowds over the weekend as the signature closing event of Dubai Food Festival.
Playing iconic tunes such as Daddy Cool and Rasputin, Boney M seared flavour into a line-up of celebrity chefs, fine-dining and world exclusives at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
Food lovers were also treated to an outstanding line-up of internationally renowned and Michelin starred chefs, who demonstrated their culinary expertise at the Electrolux Chef’s Theatre, American Garden and Lurpak Cooking Challenge and Electrolux Chef’s Secrets. Boasting a collection of eight Michelin stars between them, the chefs included Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad, Atul Kochhar, Alfred Prasad, Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens, Tim Anderson, Paolo Pettenuzzo and Jun Tanaka.
Visitors enjoyed a tantalizing taste of the most popular dishes from many fine-dining restaurants in Dubai, including six new eateries: Catch, Atisuto, Mu Cha Chas, Vesna, Fratelli La Bufala and Bistro Des Arts. A world exclusive pop-up restaurant (Giggle and Spice) by celebrity chefs Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad also offered fans a unique experience.
The event which runs until Saturday 12 March will have entertainment throughout the weekend and adding to the vibrant flavour of the festival, the entertainment stage will host an exciting line-up of bands, musicians and DJs with “4THEMUSIC” once again headlining.
Taste of Dubai is taking place as part of the Dubai Food Festival 2016 (25 February – 12 March) and runs until Saturday 12 March. Taste of Dubai will run from 12pm – 12am on Friday and 12pm – 11pm on Saturday.
